Losing your sight should not mean losing your independence. Our Sight & Mobility Program provides white canes, braille kits, screen readers, and structured mobility training to visually impaired individuals in underserved communities where these resources are otherwise unavailable.
Losing your sight should not mean losing your independence. Our Sight & Mobility Program provides white canes, braille kits, screen readers, and structured mobility training to visually impaired individuals in underserved communities where these resources are otherwise unavailable.
We identify visually impaired individuals through community health workers, assess their needs, provide appropriate assistive devices, and conduct 8-week mobility training courses taught by certified orientation and mobility specialists.
